  I hope you will find my paintings to be an exciting mix in which I am attempting to express  my emotional responses to life's energies through my love of colour. 
 Living in Hampshire alongside both the New Forest and the banks of Southampton Water my artwork is influenced by my surroundings and life experiences.
  I always strive to capture that element in a subject that inspires and compels me to paint; this being the atmosphere of the place or spirit of the person rather than a photographic image.  In the case of my abstracts each painting is a journey of exploration and discovery, my mood and emotions determine the colours but the painting takes its own direction towards the end result.
